Philosophy of Christian Education
God holds parents responsible for the education of their children. Believing God has directed Temple Baptist Church in this ministry, dedicated faculty and staff serve parents in helping them fulfill their responsibility in child training. When the home, church and school work together, Christian character can be developed.
Christian education prepares each child for an outstanding position in life and for spiritual leadership in school, home, church, community, state, nation and the world. It achieves this goal by providing them with the best possible programs and methods of studies; through participation in athletic activities, music, and art.
What makes Christian education distinct?
Every teacher at Temple Baptist School is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. Each has expressed his/her belief that God has called him/her to this teaching ministry.
While the emphasis is on the spiritual,
each young person is encouraged to achieve his/her best scholastically
and are regularly tested to determine the level of achievement. Socially,
young people interact with their classmates as well as with other young
people through athletic competition, fine arts competition and music.
